Graphic Design. What is a vector logo? And, why you need it
The best copy of the logo Hamonds Educational trust in existence was a photograph of it provided on a hessian bag. As you can see from the enlarged portion (bottom left of the pic), this image would not reproduce well, or look professional. As part of the graphic design work, the logo was redrawn and made into vector format (shown right). This means that the logo could be used on any materials at any size without loss of quality and avoids pixelation caused by photo files such as .jpgs, and .pngs.
Promo Graphic Design Package for Hamonds Educational Trust
Hamonds Educational Trust was looking to promote the funding available to local students, by informing schools of the project. The idea was to create ‘leave behind’ information so that the schools could distribute the facts to pupils that might be interested in financial support for their education. Three pull-up displays were produced. These formed a backdrop as a display in schools, whilst flyers, posters and bookmarks were freely provided to encourage students to apply for support from the charity.
Vector logo, Pull-up displays, posters, flyers and bookmarks
As part of the deal, we vectorised the logo which was very detailed. We provided the pull-up display shown, with A5 flyers and an A4 poster version, plus a series of 2-sided bookmarks with clear details of how to apply on the back.
