How it works

Hoverfly design ltd have invested time and energy into creating a multitude of pre-designed website options that can be integrated into your site design with hundreds of combinations available. This means we are able to provide affordable and cost-effective WordPress website packages that are versatile and creative. Therefore our packaged process has been fine-tuned over 20+ years, combining considerable design and development knowledge to provide high-end WordPress websites. Equating to investing time in simplifying our process and removing unnecessary steps, therefore we are able to pass cost savings on to you. Our process provides design and development expertise at a fraction of the usual cost and enables us to reach more clients by providing products that are appropriate for today’s economy.

What's included - Your WordPress design package


Firstly, we consult with you to establish your detailed requirement making recommendations as required. As part of our briefing process, we share our design elements and example pages to establish the structure and content you’d like to include on your website. Once a plan is established we build your website in ‘Figma’ software as flat designs to gain your design approval before proceeding to your website build. Meaning, we map out your site to allow you review and feedback as we go. Visuals include desktop, tablet, large-format and mobile responsive variations of your site. We refine the designs and once you’ve signed off we commence the website build.


When the visual flats are signed off and approved we begin the website development stage. Your website is initially created in test mode to hide it from public view and we will give you a password so you can view the site. We will add the structural elements of your top-level pages and commence the handover process,  providing you with a user manual and walkthrough videos so you can familiarise yourself with the content management system. We are on hand to help you and will advise you on content structure. You will be able to clone the master pages provided to simplify the process of content population. You will need to add your full product inventory (in the case of an E-Commerce site), and add in your page content as required. If you prefer we can populate the complete site, including all products for you at an additional cost per page/product on request. Once your site is complete we will ask you for a go-live confirmation and proceed to the launch stage.


To launch a website you will need a domain name and hosting. We can sort both of those for you, but we recommend that you purchase the domain yourself so you can handle future renewals without needing our input. If you already have a domain we can provide A record instructions so you can point the domain to your new site. Our hosting is provided through a hosting partner and run’s from January to January at a £12 PCM cost, Payable a year in advance. If your site is launched mid-term you will not need to pay for hosting until the following January. If you wish to use your own hosting we can transfer the site over to your hosting supplier. Once your site is live you’ll have a month’s free support to ensure the site is up and running as required. Additionally, we can provide ongoing support, if needed under a maintenance contract, or support on an ad hoc basis.
