Brand font family

Approachable, Whitty and Embracing

Being first and foremost a crafter in the gift market this company logo identity needed to carry the sense of care that went into each product sold. All Aquila Crafts items are beautifully handcrafted and made in limited numbers from retro and specialist fabrics. The logo needed to convey this. The central ‘a’ in the logo signifies the tying-off process in making something with stitching, hence it’s looped appearance forming the character. We also wanted the logo to be able to act like a physical stamp which could be inked onto tags for production to order to avoid our client incurring larger costs of high print volumes. The hearts were added to signify the amount of care which goes into each product.

A progressive toolkit

We wanted to give our client added value by suggesting ways to reduce costs. Many businesses when they start out need to keep the cost down and avoid print buying in large volumes. With the craft market, it’s the personal touch that really counts and adding a stamp to a tag is a great way to personalise each item. Every tag looks subtly different and is handmade which is what makes it special. We work hard with our clients to help them reduce risks, allowing them to build on their successes step-by-step. We also suggest production methods to allow our customers to afford what they need to promote themselves without breaking the bank. Our design work is future paced so we are always thinking ahead to what a client will need in the future and providing information that a client might not have been aware of but is found to be highly valuable further on.
