AN INCLUSIVE PROCESS

Our first step is to map out the pages you require using a wireframe to confirm what you need. After that, we design visual flats in a shared access platform called ‘Figma’. You can view these design files as we create them. Then, fine-tuning until you are ready to sign off the designs. This means that the branding is decided during the creative process which makes the development of your website run seamlessly. Our visuals show you how the site will look on different devices. All key pages are designed separately for mobile and desktop variations. As well as, showing how the site will look on tablets and large screens.

Collaborative working

Whilst we are building your website we ask you to create your text content and this can be done on your own applications or directly onto our Figma files. Generally, we will populate the top-level pages within our quote and provide training for you to take over control of the site. We can, of course, populate the whole site for you which would need to be factored into our quote.

Website development process

Once the visual flats are signed off we begin the development stage. Your website is created in test mode to hide it from public view. When the site is built we will commence the content population of your top-level pages. We will also test the site to fix any issues which may occur on different browsers/devices as we go. We then hand over, providing training so you can use the CMS system to add your own content and familiarise yourself with the application. We will supply online instructional videos to deliver remote training tools. This enables you to have material to refer back to and the ability to share with other team members engaged in your website.

Ready for launch

To launch a website you will need a domain name and hosting. These can be sorted for you. Or, we will happily transfer your developed site over to your hosting provider. If you are overwriting an existing site timing is important to ensure minimal disruption. Once your site is live you’ll have a month’s free support to ensure the site is up and running as required.
